InstaList collects your email address for account authentication, photos you upload for item identification (processed by AI and not stored permanently), item data you add to your collection, and eBay/Shopify connection tokens for listing functionality.
Your data is used exclusively to provide InstaList services: identifying collectibles, tracking collection values, listing items on eBay and Shopify, and sending price alerts you've opted into. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Photos you take are sent to Anthropic's AI API for identification. Photos are processed in real-time and are not stored on Anthropic's servers after processing. Thumbnail images may be stored in your account for collection display.
InstaList uses the following third-party services:
Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic Claude AI (item identification), eBay API (listing and price data), Shopify API (cross-listing), and RapidAPI/eBay (comparable sales data).
Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers (AWS infrastructure) with row-level security policies. Payment information is processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
If you enable push notifications, we store your browser's push subscription endpoint to send you sale alerts and price notifications. You can disable this at any time in Settings.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@instalist.app. Collection items, drafts, and listings can be individually deleted within the app.
InstaList is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
